As a former basketball player, all the way up to the professional level, I am a planner and overachiever at my core.  When I became a single mom…which wasn’t in my plan at the time…I wasn’t fully prepared to deal with the reality of parenthood. On top of it, I’m also a caregiver to my own mother.  Caring for a child while also caring for a grown adult is about as emotionally and physically taxing as I can ever recall feeling. That powerlessness was nearly foreign to me, and I didn’t like it. I mean, even when my team lost a basketball game to an opponent, I didn’t feel completely defeated because I saw a future opportunity to meet them on the court and come out on top.

…but being a primary caregiver was, as they say, a whole new ballgame!

I wanted to manage my life and not have life managing me, but each day I felt like I was scrambling to keep up. I barely kept thoughts of despair at bay, but the mounting pressure of future physical and financial obligations brought me to my knees. I prayed, day and night, for God to direct my steps toward something that would enable me to balance my responsibilities and demonstrate the strength I needed to push through and be a good example to my child. I prayed for the wisdom to recognize my potential to climb out of limitation.

…and my prayers were answered!

Take Care of Your Body

Adding more to my overcrowded basket of responsibility wasn’t what I had in mind, but when I was introduced to the opportunity, I knew I could score big! I didn’t even need to try the products to know the company was, definitely, EXACTLY where I needed to be. Once I began using the products, my results did all the talking. My…once blemished…skin is now glowing! I have an arsenal of wellness products that work from the inside out so I don’t spend hours applying make-up and covering my face. I have the energy to juggle all the balls I have in the air, and I sleep like my baby. While this is all a wonderful experience, what I truly love…maybe even more than the products…is the company philosophy and the leadership.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

See I was starving for a team…for the teamwork I’d experienced since I was able to dribble a basketball and play the game. I found that camaraderie and motivation within a group of other home-based business owners who were fiercely proactive about personal development. I was in business for myself, but not by myself. I can tailor this business around my life and the needs of my family. I credit this organization for lifting me…for empowering me to lift myself… and run with the ball, again! Since I’ve surrounded myself with these soulful people, and allowed myself to be coachable,  I’ve been celebrating accomplishment after accomplishment. The financial rewards and trip incentives are phenomenal, and the peace of mind is a relief!

I recently completed my graduate degree EARLY, and because of this business I was able to pay for my education in CASH! I am passing on the knowledge I’ve gained to my son,  and my mother has embraced visualizing herself in a happier state of being. I still feel a healthy form of challenge to stretch myself while hitting milestones to fulfill my purpose and lead a team of people to do the same.

True Leadership

Without this residual income, and the freedom to do business wherever I happen to be…in a global market…there is no doubt in my mind that I would’ve dropped the ball long ago. God has other plans for me, and I have big plans for my family and the people who are locking arms with me. My cup is overflowing, and I am so grateful because this business is an absolute GIFT! It’s a gift that keeps on giving and showing me what I’m made of and just how incredible it feels to be winning at life! ~ A.G.
